How do I book a session with Melissa Bell Photography?

How much do I have to pay to reserve my session? 
MBP requires a non-refundable 25% retainer to book your session. The remaining balance is due at the time of your session or anytime prior. Wedding packages require a 50% retainer and the remaining balance is due 14 days prior to your wedding date. You will also receive a contract via email that needs to be signed within 72 hours of booking.


What should I expect when I book a session with MBP?
Melissa will consult with you prior to your session to work out any details. She can help you from location ideas to wardrobe planning! During your session you can expect to be formally posed as well as Melissa capturing candid moments. 
 

When will I receive my pictures? 
Proofing galleries will be available online within 7-14 days after your session. You will receive an email when it is ready to be viewed and instructions on how to choose your favorites. Melissa will then fully edit your choices for you to download or order prints/artwork. If you are in a hurry, you can pay a rush fee of $50 to have your gallery within 7 days.  Wedding galleries will be available 8-12 weeks after your wedding date. 


What do I wear?
Melissa will help you with wardrobe ideas for you and your family. She even has a client closet that you are welcome to use! 


How long do I have to order?
Online galleries will be available for 6 months after your session date. Weddings and senior sessions will be available for 12 months.
